TestCaseLab 1st November Update

We spent last month working on the most requested features from our clients. Our goal was to make TCL look nicer and help you be even more productive in managing your test cases. Let’s see it in detail.

1. Look&Feel

  • – Get easy access to “Settings” from any page.  We’ve added a popup with quick links to company, project, subscription, and users setting in the main navigation menu. Available on each page – just click the gear icon.

  • – New feature – add a photo to your profile.  Personalize your profile with a photo and it will be visible on the main menu and test run page for assignees.

  • – Improvement – better visibility of available test cases in your subscription. Now you can see how many test cases still available and how many have been utilized at a glance.

  • – Improvement – refreshed look and feel for company and project settings pages

Fewer details and words, more intuitively understandable icons.

2. Advanced expected results for steps

We expanded the functionality of the steps field on the test case card. Now you can:

  • – New feature – divide the information into “action” and “expected result” on each step;

  • – New feature – give test result statuses to each step separately. This would automatically affect the whole test result.

3. User mention

Besides, you can assign users for a test run, now it’s also possible to mention them in the test result comment.

  • – New feature – simply type and choose the required person form the drop-down list.

4. Better pricing

Earlier you could only pay monthly. Now we offer Annual subscription. Pay once per year and get a 15% percent discount -> Enjoy better test case management! Pay for the whole year and get 2 months for free (and forget about managing payments each month 😉). You can set up annual subscription in your “Admin settings” page in the “Subscription details” tab.

You can log in to try the improvements or sign up to get a free 30 days trial.
